This is the JANUARY 2010 edition of the Funstead.org Newsletter

URGENT!!
Last week a letter was mailed asking that you write to protest the outrageous Po River Water & Sewer Company rate hike. The petition that was enclosed did not mention that you "request a hearing" however since then, our attorney informed us that we should add the following:

I/We, request the Commission to schedule a hearing for receipt of evidence and to allow time for extensive discovery to be served upon the utility.
By now you may have received an email from indianacres.org and/or a corrected petition with the request for hearing verbiage - please send your request for hearing letter and/or the revised petition (copy of revised petition with the above wording is at the bottom of this Newsletter page, as well as in the blog about the Po River Rate Hike) ASAP to the following address:

The Department of Energy Regulation, State Corporation Commission,
PO Box 1197 Richmond VA 23209

OR both of these pieces of correspondence can be sent to IACT c/o Chad Brown and we will mail OR if you prefer, you can send direct to the Commission with a copy to IACT Attn: Chad Brown, PO Box 120 Thornburg, VA 22565.
