Hello fellow funsteaders. As a candidate in the IACT BoD elections, I would like to take this time to introduce mysef to those of you who may not know me. My name is J. Michael (Mike) Berry. My wife and I are "regulars" here at the acres. Her grandparents bought their first lot here in the late '60's. As frequent campers we are very concerned about and close to the issues surrounding IACT. My biggest reason for running for this position is to help make IACT more appealing. I would like for our visitors and new funsteaders to tell their friends they have found " The garden of Eden" not "the gates of hell". My objective would be for us to come together as a community and resolve our issues and build something we can all be proud of. I am asking for your help in this endeavor. Without your votes I won't make it. I'm running as an "independant" candidate for 2 reasons. One, when an issue comes efore me at that table I want to be able to focus on that issue, not who I may owe a favor too. The other is that should I win a seat on the upcoming BoD it will be based on your confidence in my ability not on my allegiance with any person or group of persons. Thank-you for your consideration and may IACT win in this election!

-
This Elections page is for use by ALL funsteaders running for the Board and will be updated as information is received - so please check back often.
- Candidates are encouraged to be active on funstead.org by reading, creating, and responding to content. It is important to become familiar the concerns IACT members have. The next best thing to talking with folks directly is reading the content they have posted. When you create or respond to content, be sure to let folks know who you are and that you are running for the BOD.
- Web pages by default are non-interactive. In other words, this is a good place to share information where no response is needed nor wanted (this is the best way to advertise yourself and your ideas). Most other kinds of content you create (blogs, forum topics, etc.) allow other registered members to respond. Occasionally we may moderate content that does not meet funstead.org terms of serviceso please let us know if you ever come across anything on funstead.org that raises concern.
- The steadily increasing level of website traffic on funstead.org will be a good resource for potential candidates to share their ideas and increase their visibility (especially with out of state IACT members that visit funstead.org). We also hope that candidates and other IACT members will engage in positive discussions about issues that affect IACT.
